The Ministry of ICT hereby announces the disposal of various computing devices and IT equipment through public auction:

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION

  • Various laptops, desktop computers, and related computing devices
  • All devices are being disposed of on "as-is, where-is" basis
  • Equipment specifications and conditions are documented in the detailed inventory list
  • All storage devices have undergone secure data wiping procedures in accordance with government data security protocols

DATA SECURITY CERTIFICATION

  • All devices have been professionally sanitized of data
  • Certification of data wiping will be provided for each device
  • Buyers cannot hold the Ministry liable for any residual data
  • All devices will be supplied with fresh operating system installations where applicable

ELIGIBILITY

  • Open to all eligible bidders (individuals, companies, and organizations)
  • Bidders must provide valid identification and registration documents
  • Priority may be given to educational institutions and registered charitable organizations
  • Government employees directly involved in the disposal process are not eligible

BIDDING PROCESS

  • Sealed bids must be submitted using the official bid form
  • Minimum reserve prices have been set for each category of equipment
  • Bids must be accompanied by a 10% refundable bid security
  • Bulk purchase options are available for institutional buyers

INSPECTION

  • Buyers must agree to handle disposal of unusable parts in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Compliance with E-waste management regulations is mandatory

Certification of proper disposal may be required for certain components

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Bulk buyers must provide proof of capacity to handle e-waste
  • Resellers must demonstrate proper business registration
  • Export of equipment must comply with relevant regulations

The Ministry reserves the right to:

  • Withdraw any item from the disposal list
  • Reject any or all bids
  • Modify terms and conditions
  • Cancel the disposal process
